Daily, economical, scheduled & chartered service catering to
individual travelers and small groups along the scenic Parks Highway
between Anchorage, the commerce capital of Alaska, Talkeetna, Denali
National Park, and the Golden Heart City of Fairbanks.
Weather permitting see spectacular south and north views of Alaska
Range and Mt. McKinley (Denali), highest peak in North America.
Get off anywhere along the Parks Highway and reboard on a later
date, no additional charge.
If stopping in Talkeetna allow 1-overnight to enjoy a river
sight-seeing or fishing tour and/or a flight-seeing tour circling or
landing on Ruth Glacier, the base-camp for Denali mountain climbers.
If stopping in Denali be sure to allow for one overnight to take an
afternoon shuttle to the Toklat River, 50 miles into the park. Watch
for grizzly, caribou, moose, wolf, fox, raven & eagles on your
journey. The following morning enjoy a raft adventure or visit the
local shops and galleries near the park entrance.
Before joining a tour to the Yukon Territory Canada, be sure to
allow 2 overnights in Fairbanks to visit Pioneer Park with its
historic cabins, shops and WWII flight museum. Enjoy a tour or
dinner on a historic paddle-wheel river boat. Visit University of
Alaska botanical gardens, musk ox farm and Museum of the North where
you will learn about northern lights, Alaska’s indigenous population
and gold mining heritage. Pan for gold and visit the Alyeska
Pipeline Viewing Center in Fox, Alaska. Enjoy dinner in Fox at the
Turtle Club, at one of the excellent restaurants in downtown
Fairbanks or at the historic Pump House Restaurant along the Chena
River.
Don’t forget to send letters to folks back home from Santa Claus
House, North Pole, Alaska and/or spend a relaxing day 60-miles
northeast of Fairbanks at historic Chena Hot Springs Resort.
